Angel-GUARD is designed for Internet commerce, and
employs industry standard methods of protecting the
security of information sent over the site. This
statement describes the technologies we use and
provides additional information about how we handle
your credit card information.
Is
the information I send to you secure while it is being
sent?
We
strive to protect the security of the information you
send to us while it is en route to our site. Every
page on site on which information is exchanged between
you and us employs VeriSign technology. VeriSign is a
secure and encrypted method of communicating between
your browser software and our web server. VeriSign is
a common method of secure communication used on the
Internet, and the technology is built into most major
browsers. When you provide information or place an
order with us, the information is sent to us via this
secure, encrypted connection

quick method of identifying a secure web page is to
look at the address of the page. Secure pages will
usually appear with an address that starts with
"https://" rather then the standard
"http://".
What
happens to my information after we receive it?
Once
you are finished shopping and you have typed in your
shipping information, e-mail address and credit card
information, and you’ve clicked "Submit
Order", your encrypted information is sent out to
our server.
Once
it arrives at our web server, it is processed for
credit card verification and order fulfillment. The
connection between these computers is wholly managed
by us and the computer that receives your credit card
information for verification and processing in NOT
accessible from the Internet.
Privacy
Statement
We
respect the privacy of our customers. This privacy
statement is designed to help you understand what
information we gather and what we do with the
information.
In
you place an order on our site, we ask you to provide
the information that will allow us to fulfill your
order. The check-out area of the site will ask you for
your name, the shipping address, your e-mail address
(so we can send an order confirmation), and a credit
card number to pay for your order. If you are

(above). We do NOT sell or otherwise provide any of
the personal information you provide to complete your
order to any third party under any circumstances.
We
do send a single e-mail message confirming your order.
This message contains the list of items you purchased,
a description of how you paid for your order, and the
total amount billed to your credit card, but it does
not contain your credit card number.
What
We Do With the Information We Gather
As
indicted above, the aggregated tracking information we
gather over the site is used to tailor the site to our
customer’ interests. The information you provide to
fulfill an order is used primarily to complete your
order, to ship it to the correct address, and to send
you an e-mail confirmation of your purchase. With your
permission (but only with your permission), we will
retain you e-mail address and your name. We’d like
to keep this information so that, from time to time,
we can send you information on products and services
that we believe may be of interest to you. If you
would prefer not to receive such information, please
check the box at the bottom of the Shipping screen. If
you do not check the box, but later want to remove
your e-mail address from our list, send an e-mail to
us. If you ask us to make the change for you, please
allow 24 to 48 hours for implementation.
What
We Won’t Do With the Information We Gather
Even
though we’ve said it already, the message is
important enough to repeat: We respect the privacy of
our customers. We will NOT sell or otherwise provide
any of our customers’ personal information to any
third party under any circumstances.
